P.s. SMA, (spinal muscular atrophy) is the #1 genetic killer of children under the age 2. 50% of kids diagnosed before the age 2 will die before their 2nd birthday.
But this ISIS trial is so exciting and results are so promising that we may be changing those statistics in the near future. My heart is full!
