As I walked toward the truck I looked down and realized I was wearing my Birkenstocks. Normally that's not such an odd choice, but it's December 11th!!! I should be wearing winter boots and pre-heating my vehicle while I shovel snow off the walkway.
Mid December and I'm still riding 3-4 times a week (on dry trails), hiking and/or trail running the other days and most of that is without winter layers.
I'm feeling grateful for the super warm weather, but I'm also concerned with what we have done to our planet!
