One of my funnier moments of gratitude came at the grocery store earlier in the day. This is the third time this has happened to me in the last few weeks and each time has left me grinning ear to ear.
Normally I pay very little attention to the price of the item as its scanned at the register. For whatever reason I noticed the item scanned in higher than what I thought it should be. And for whatever reason I kindly mentioned the discrepancy.
Low and behold, for the 3rd time in 3 weeks the item WAS lower than what scanned in and I was given a $10 discount.
Nothing is more gratifying than an unexpected discount!
