For the last 6 years I have lived in a forest, under a thick canopy of leaves, which makes me enjoy driving along country roads with big open skies even more. This morning I was headed to our park in Brampton which is about an hour and a half from my home.
The sky was so entertaining I found it hard to concentrate at times. Finally I pulled over to snap this picture.
Then as I sat at the side of the road a beautiful cardinal flittered about the brush on the other side of my car. These may be hardly noticeable to some, but to me they are gifts from Mother Nature and I am always filled with gratitude.
