During and intense, tight-schedule rescue training day 5 of these little beauties flittered past us. What a wonderful reminder that hard work and long hours pays off. If you are not sure what I am talking about, google the monarch butterfly and be amazed by their incredible journey each year.
Monarchs are endangered species, so I am double excited that we were able to watch 5 flitter about us as we hung out in the trees. What a gift!
