My girlfriend Janis is volunteering for the mountain biking event for the Pan Am games. They are happening 10 minutes from my home so I invited her to stay a few nights at my house. I was so proud and happy for her that she volunteered her time.
And I looked forward to spending time with her.
Then I took on a work-related role of co-managing a zipline/rock wall park down in Toronto, also for the Pan Am games.
And as luck would have it we both had Pan Am duties this same weekend. So my sweet hubby Paul hosted her and prepared an awesome BBQ dinner with her. Then they sent me this photo.
Too funny. Missing them but feeling grateful,
