Often my sister-in-law Lori and I go for evening walks while our husbands (brothers) attend junior hockey games. We both love fresh evening air, exercise, and a chance to catch up.
Usually we walk in the country, either in the forest where I live, or along Lake Simcoe where she lives. But last night we met in the town of Barrie for a bite to eat, and decided to walk along the festive downtown city streets.
Low an behold we came across these scaves tied to trees. Small gifts of warmth for anyone feeling the harshness of a cold winter night. Wow - how kind. How inspiring. It reminds me how easy it is to make a difference in the lives of others. Kudos to the scarf givers!
Much love,
Louise
