Let me explain.
I love young people. I did when I was young and I do now in my semi-retirement years. I love connecting with them, hearing about their hopes and dreams. I love talking them through rough spots and helping guide them, if asked, in big life decisions.
In essence I am mamma smith to many. And. I. Love. It.
Today my young friend Vanessa took me to lunch and we talked and talked and talked until the restaurant needed to start preparations for dinner. She is such a wonderful, happy spirit and I am one lucky girl!
