Bernie knits. She knits and knits and knits. Always for pleasure, often for charity. She routinely makes piles of scarves and then gives them out to homeless people. She also makes up self-care kits and hands them out at shelters.
Her grandchildren help make up the kits, and help hand them out. Bernie even teaches the youngsters to knit so they too can make scarves for the homeless.
Thank you Bernie for being you and ALWAYS inspiring me to amp up my kindness and do good things for others.
