365 Days of Gratitude - Day 113

I am feeling both lucky AND grateful that we chose to live in an area where I can hop on my bike in my driveway, ride to my girlfriends Marti and Linda's place, and then rip some sweet ass single track to our yoga class.

Notice I said 'chose'...

Life is full of options and opportunities. If you don't like something, choose something else. To make the choice to move here Paul and I sold our house (the only house our kids ever lived in. And while were away at school), quit jobs (ones we held for years), said goodbye to lifelong friends, broke the news to family (not super well received), broke mom's heart a bit (they eventually grew to see it as a positive), and figured we'd figure things out along the way.

It turned out to be one of the most magical and amazing decisions of our life together.

So, yes. It CAN be done.
