One of the biggest surprises was hearing from our son Richard who is currently in northern BC.
He's not often in civilization and I had just heard from him on Mother's Day so today was quite a surprise.
In the last few days he's seen 3 black bears, 1 stunning bull moose, and a huge grizzly bear. He's loving the exposure to Canada's wildlife. What a lucky guy!
