365 Days of Gratitude - Day 138

My heart is full after an afternoon of snuggling with a few of my great nieces and nephews. The highlight was meeting wee little Smith for the first time - at a baby shower in his honour.

I brought my mom with me. What fun it was to watch her excitement with having little ones around.  When you reach the age of 88 and live in a retirement center having a lot of babies to cuddle isn't a common activity.

She leaned towards me at one point and said, 'they are all so beautiful I want to take them all home!' I agree mom, I agree.
